Dear Jude

Traditionally, the colour blue signifies Peace. Moreso with the azure blue that we used which is the colour of the sky (#0099ff). Sky is the limit. This is also punctuated by the motto which says “conquer with love”. In this context, youth will bring peace through dialogue in Africa in Keeping with Gandhi’s philosophy to wipe conflict.  The logo conjoins Africa to the world as a reminder that Africa cannot develop alone and that her identity does not mean one race, but all that live in her seeking to bring development. And this unity shall be brought by young people who are ready to grasp this and all its new challenges. The lines are the umbilical code that brings technology and skills from other parts of the world to wrap around Africa’s prosperity. As you will see, the empty space at the right, gives Africa total prominence, satisfying that the future, esp the 21^st century will see a more powerful and dominant Africa channelled by the youth of today: “OAYouth” who may be black or peace loving new citizens. Thus the vision: A united Africa of Peace and Security, Democracy and Human Rights, Developmental Prosperity and Opportunity
