The next meeting of the New York City Visual FoxPro User Group will be on
Thursday, June 4, 2009 (rescheduled from May). Chaim Caron will speak on
metadata and Data Dictionary. He will explain why systems need a data
dictionary, what a data dictionary is, the functions a data dictionary
should support, and the benefits of using a data dictionary when you
develop database systems. He will demonstrate a few features of the data
dictionary he developed about 15 years ago and has used since. He will also
discuss the database structure he uses for the data dictionary. This
information will be useful to you if you want to build your own data
dictionary.

has worked with FoxPro and Visual FoxPro since 1989. He was the leader of
the New York City FoxPro User Group for three years during the 90's.

northeast corner of Washington Square, on Thursday June 4. The room number

you are attending the "computer club" .Please bring photo id.
