In her words:

Dear Friends from Oregon — Don’t Wait! Join Our Basic Folk Singing Course for Adults! 🎶
💛 Spots are limited, and only a few remain!
Our first workshop is this Wednesday, November 19 at 6:30 PM — and I truly cannot wait to meet you. This fall–winter semester includes 8 cozy sessions, every other Wednesday… a small, intimate circle of people who feel the magic of real folk music: living, honest, heart-touching, and healing. Open your heart to the beauty and power of Ukrainian folklore — one of the richest and most breathtaking singing traditions in the world.
✨ In this warm group, we’ll discover the depth and beauty of Ukrainian folk singing 🎶
✨ You’ll experience the magic of true polyphony: voices blending so naturally and deeply that it gives you goosebumps.
✨ You’ll learn to breathe, resonate, and sing freely — naturally, joyfully, and without fear.
✨ And you’ll connect with a supportive community of people who want to feel something real, soulful, and unforgettable.
The course is taught in both English and Ukrainian, so everyone can join. No matter your background or experience — you are warmly welcome. These songs are alive, sincere, ancient, and incredibly healing… and they open beautifully to anyone who wants to listen and sing.
Group size is limited — I keep it small so every voice feels heard, supported, and valued.
I’m Inna Kovtun — Master of Music and Folklore, ethnomusicologist, and folk singer with over 30 years of stage experience. Together, we’ll create a nurturing atmosphere, discover your natural vocal colors, and feel the deep, resonant beauty of Ukrainian folk music.
The video below features one of my favorite songs, performed with my ensemble @rozhanytsya , where I spent 15 years as director, teacher, and soloist in Kyiv, Ukraine. You can find the full version on my YouTube page — www.youtube.com/@InnaKovtunMusic
