Balkanalia (Labor Day weekend Balkan music & dance camp outside Portland, OR) needs your help!

Fundraiser to keep tuition low

We are in the final stages of planning for Balkanalia this year, and will open registration on June 1. For now, save those dates:

September 4 - 7, 2026

at Camp Angelos in Oregon

Before we open registration, we need to figure out how much to charge for tuition this year. This is always a challenging calculation. How expensive will gas be in September? How many people will come?

What we'd love to do is keep tuition the same as last year, with options to pay a subsidized rate and a pay-it-forward rate — but to do that and make sure we can pay all the bills, we need to raise $5000. Absolutely doable -- if everyone who has come to Balkanalia in the last 3 years donated $25, we'd easily hit that goal.

Looking for a site manager

We're hiring a site manager to help us with the camp logistics. Interviews are already in progress, but if you're interested, please get in touch ASAP!
