About Prof. Dr. Anton Andonov:
Prof. Dr. Anton Andonov is a leading figure in Bulgarian dance folklore, with an impressive academic and artistic background.

Education & Expertise:
Graduate of the National School of Dance Art – Sofia
Degree in Choreographic Directing from the Academy of Music, Dance, and Fine Arts – Plovdiv
Author of numerous scholarly works on Bulgarian stage and traditional dance folklore

Current Roles:
Vice-Rector for Research at the Academy of Music, Dance, and Fine Arts "Prof. Asen Diamandiev" – Plovdiv and Former Dean of the “Choreography” Department
Ballet Master at Ensemble “Trakia” – Plovdiv
Choreographer of Folklore Ensemble "Sunny Beach" – Nessebar

International Recognition:
Instructor and choreographer of stage productions of Bulgarian folklore dance across Europe, Asia, and the USA.
Jury member in numerous international and national dance competitions and festivals

About Orkestar RTW:
Orkestar RTW is a five-piece band from Seattle, WA, bringing you the vibrant traditional dance and folk music of Bulgaria, Macedonia, and Serbia!
Founded in 1987, Orkestar RTW has been keeping the spirit of Balkan music alive for decades, and we’re thrilled to share this special night with them.
