How did the reunion go?

Hey folks!

Diane Richardson's brother here. I was just wondering how the reunion
went for you guys? I am going to be planning our 20th reunion in about
3 years. I am going to get a BIG jump on it. Hope everyone enjoyed
the school again as I know it has changed SO MUCH. not really the same
looking school in a since. The trees around the field and the
bleachers that are missing. Progress is sure nasty sometimes. How was
the gym? I hope they kept it like it was before as it was very nice
looking gym. If you guys have any pictures of the school and just any,
send them around. I would love to see them. Anyway, hope you guys had
fun as I have read the emails and such about it ever since I found the
group and I did enjoy it. I miss that school! Take care and look
forward to hearing from you guys.

Sorry to say- the gym does not look the same. Floor is
in rough shape- walls have been painted. They are gettting
ready to tear out the bleachers on the stage in the gym and
put classrooms in.
As for the reunion- it went great!! Everyone really
enjoyed it. We sure did miss Diane- I wish she could have
been there. Please give her my best.

Regarding the school, after 25 years some things change. As Mike
indicated, the gym is not the way I remember it and I don't know about
the flowers on the pool walls. For me, it was just strange seeing the
Bulldog mascot everywhere instead of Mountaineer logos etc. However,
putting classrooms on the gym stage would be a travesty. Considering
the school was built somewhere around 1968 it is still in remarkably
good condition from what I could tell. To summarize, I guess the school
is a lot like we are; at heart it's the same old school but it's looks
have changed a little with time.

After your reunion, I really would like to compare notes with you. I
would be interested in the date you choose, the participation
percentage, and what worked and didn't work.
