Bernalillo County invites community members to attend the public meeting today, May 19, 5:30 p.m. at the Raymond G. Sanchez Community Center to learn about Phase 6 of the Alameda Drain Trail project.
The proposed project includes construction of a 12-foot wide paved asphalt multi-use trail along the Alameda Drain Corridor; improvements to landscaping, signs and water quality; and erosion control measures.
County staff and project consultants will present an overview of the proposed improvements and provide an opportunity for attendees to ask questions and speak directly with the project team. Comment cards will also be available for those who wish to give written feedback.
A 30-day public comment period will open up after the meetings. All comments received will be reviewed and considered as the project advances. All interested are encouraged to attend and share their input.
