Highlander teaches there can be only one. While I only accept the first 22 books of the protestant old testament canon as scripture, and the prophetical preachers are rejected, the prophets themselves are interesting. It appears that there is contradiction of eschatology amongst the prophets. Isaiah and Ezekiel and Zechariah's prophecies all failed, but they spoke in the Name of the Lord. This showed that they were false prophets according to the deuteronomic test of the prophet. Daniel's prophecies do not appear to be taught in the name of the Lord, so the nature of the prophecy is actually different in the book of Daniel. When I was younger I always thought Daniel's prophecies were a bit more precise. Daniel doesn't appear to claim his teaching is the word of the Lord, so while the prophecy failed in Daniel 12 in the time of the Maccabeans to resurrect the dead, it might be possible to still have a delayed future resurrection. This might just be a job of completing the spiritual requirements of prayer and scripture study by an individual to accomplish this. I am committed to this work. I have gained sufficient knowledge for a long life, with the faith alignment of Noahide faith and Noah's duration of 930 years on earth. This could possibly be sufficient enough time to complete the tasks of the Book of Daniel. Daniel 9:24 is important, as an end to sin needs to be accomplished, and the bringing in of everlasting righteousness. The works has to be done to a good and decent standard. God doesn't expect perfection. In future world we live in joy, peace and love as Helloween sing. A good enough effort for ending sin, with a decent teaching academy of theological men who are trained enough to know how to rebuke and when to rebuke should get the job done well enough. A lot of that is already in place. So I guess the Daniel agenda is possibly going ahead. I am not sure if the other prophets can complete their job. They appear to have failed the deuteronomic test. Habbakkuk 2 was pretty insistent that the time of fulfilment of the word of the lord prophecies would not tarry, which proved false. So Word of the Lord prophets, sorry, I think they have failed their mission the biblical preacher prophets. Tough luck schmucks.
