Community Meeting at Cleveland ES - Tuesday, October 8

Cleveland Elementary School is hosting a community meeting at 6 pm on Tuesday, October 8. Councilmember Nadeau, in addition to other government and DCPS officials, will be there. This is in response to the recent evacuation of the school, caused by fumes from the Quadrangle Development behind the school. While the incident is the impetus for the meeting, general community issues that pertain to the school and surrounding areas will also be discussed.

All are welcome. I'm cc'ing my wife, Jessica Kahanek, who has been involved in the response since the evacuation and can speak to some of the progress, or lack thereof, on a number of issues. We have a student at the school and live across from the school, so these issues are near and dear to us.
