administration from turning us into even more of a sacrifice zone,

On March 15, 2016, the US federal government said they won't allow oil
and gas drilling off the Atlantic coast (for at least 5 years) -- but
they still think it's ok to sacrifice the Gulf of Mexico and all the
communities on our coast to toxic spills, even more toxic failed
"clean ups", sea level rise, megastorms and more! On March 23, the US
government plans to auction off 43 million acres in the Gulf of Mexico
for offshore oil and gas drilling at rock-bottom prices to some of
the most profitable corporations in the world. Join in saying "NO!
We've had enough! No new drilling! Change has come!" The world-wide
effort to curb global climate change is counting on all that oil and
gas staying beneath the Gulf -- #KeepItInTheGround. Some of us have
been speaking up and organizing our communities here for decades, and
some of us are just starting today. The fate of our Gulf Coast
communities lies in the balance.
