There will be a permit hearing in Austin for the Native American site-destroying & super-dirty Dos Republicas​ coal mine. You may recognise the name from when indigenous folks & allies from across the country gathered with support of the town of Eagle Pass to protest it back in April (http://www.bizjournals.com/sanantonio/blog/eagle-ford-shale-insight/2016/04/native-americans-environmentalists-protest.html

TCEQ Dos Republicas Permit Hearing Rally!

When you come to the meeting be sure to wear white, bring a sign and a bring friend! If you don't have a sign, no problem, a sign will be provided for you.

The plan is to:
Gather at 8am outside the TCEQ building.
The hearing begins at 9:30am 
Finally, the press conference is scheduled for 10:30am.
If you cannot stay the entire morning, no problem! Come for what you can.
