Loading on screen

Hi, I've installed the R4 with some games. Everything seems to be ok,
the games load ok and I can paly. Some games have a key shown and I
cannot open it. On the screen appears loading forever.
Any suggestion? Thnx

1.17 IS THE LATEST FIRMWARE (I THINK)....THAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU WANNA CHECK.

I have the same problem. I just purchased R4 for my DS-lite. I also
downloaded 1.17 firmware on a 4GB uSD card. Only thing I loaded is the
firmware. Nothing else. After turning on my DS, loading... stays on
forever. Any idea what is wrong here?

Have you tried to reformat your sd card? the extract the latests firmware to your card...maybe your missing a file somewhere that is preventing it from completely booting up. Or have you tried an earlier firmware? If none of that helps its possible there is a hardware problem either with your sd card or you R4 cart. I have had my R4 for about a year or so and have never had ANY trouble with it at all. Would you like me to email the firmware i have on my R4 currently? let me know if anything i have said here helps! Also...I noticed that you have a 4gb sd card. Do you have the current r4 that supports the SD High Capacity (SDHC)? Maybe that is the problem, because mine only supports 2gb max.

Thanks for the info. 4GB SDHC is the problem. With 2GB, everything works fine.
