Hello all,

I must say I'm very interested in this project, so I've tried to
compile it with the NH trunk, which gives me some compile errors.
I'll try to change the code and even send a patch to this group if you
don't mind.

That brings me to my next question: what's the status of this project?
I really think this is a powerfull addon to the NH Criteria, so is
this project going to be included yet into NH (or event NHContrib).
Any status on this?

Appearantly, I've looked not far enough to find in this thread (http://groups.google.com/group/nhibernate-development/browse_thread/thread/614bb5963621fb1a) that they are planning on integrating this in the next release.

This would be nice :)

Hi there,

The project is currently only released for NH2.0.1 (latest release of NH), and I'll keep it up to date with any new releases of NH (assuming it isn't already included).

I haven't tried compiling it against the trunk (it's a harder target to keep up with), but I'll have a look and see what's involved.

Regards,

I've had a look at the compilation errors - it's in the tests where some of the internal values of ICriteria are no longer exposed through the interface.  I'll see if I can get a nicer way of testing equality of the ICriteria instances that is compatible with the trunk.  Since it's only the tests that don't compile, the latest NhLambdaExtensions release should still work with an NHibernate trunk build.

In addition, I've noticed that the latest package has too many files (it's included all the NHibernate files which it should), so either way I'll be doing another release shortly.

indeed, it's only the tests that fail to compile.
I saw the compilers errors were related to changes to ICriteria interface, although I couldn't say why, as my knowledge of NH internals is very small (yet).

Anyway, if I can help, just let me know.

Hi Christiaan,

If you try the trunk version of NhLambdaExtensions now it should work OK with a trunk build of NHibernate.  (The tests have now moved to using reflection without needing to rely on the internal structure of the NHibernate classes.)

There's also a new version uploaded 1.0.2.0.

Hi Richard,

I've noticed you updated the trunk when I did an update of it. Thanks.

Do you actually know something about incorporating this in NH or NHcontrib?

No more than you.  The NH team have hinted it might be nice to have it in the next (3.5) release, and I've said I'll be happy to assist.
