The MBTA will be hosting a virtual public hearing on its proposed FY2027-2031 Capital Investment Plan tomorrow night at 6PM.

Event Description

The MBTA Capital Investment Plan (CIP) is the five-year financial plan that funds all the MBTA's capital projects. Capital projects are investments or activities related to acquiring, renewing, constructing, improving, or maintaining a capital asset, including project planning and design. 

At this meeting, they will provide an overview of the proposed FY 2027 – 2031 MBTA CIP and discuss some of our key capital projects. The proposed CIP will be available for public comment on March 26, following a presentation at the March board meeting.

This meeting will be held online on Zoom. After you register, you'll receive a confirmation email with information about joining. They will post a recording of the meeting here after the event for those who can't attend.

 

In-Person Meeting

If you cannot attend tomorrow, there will be an in-person public meeting on Monday, April 13, 2026 at 6PM, at the MBTA Board Room, 10 Park Plaza, 2nd Floor, Boston, MA  02116.
