Subsequent investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of Lindsey Wright (age 19, of Andover) on 4/5/19 concluded that it was accidental in nature and had occurred as a result of her leaning out of an apartment window at 144 Spring Street. During the investigation, it was determined that Wright had consumed alcohol that Dean Sugar, age 33, of Newton had provided to her.

As a result, Sugar was charged with the following offense:

N.J.S. 2C:33-17a Providing Alcohol To A Person that Is Under Legal Age (Disorderly Persons)
