First Friday Mass: 9/4

As some of you may know, the first Friday of the month NCM usually
holds Mass on Campus. However, this month we were unable to find a
local priest to celebrate Mass with us. Instead, we will be carpooling
to the 5:30pm Mass at St. Mark the Evangelist's parish in Plano. We
will be leaving no later than 5:15pm from the picnic tables behind
Hoblitzelle Hall so please try and meet there a little after 5
o'clock!

Confessions will be held before mass at St. Mark's. If you would like
to attend reconciliation, please meet behind Hoblitzelle Hall by the
picnic tables at 4:45pm to carpool with Andres. To make sure that
there is a spot in his car for you, please call or text him at (214)
543-8924 so he can be expecting you!

NOTE: the first Friday of the month mass is a devotion to the Sacred
Heart of Jesus, and when you attend nine first Friday masses, you can
potentially receive a plenary indulgence if you also receive the
sacrament of reconciliation as well as pray for the Holy Father's
intentions.
