Bring your antiques, furniture, collectibles, tools, your great
Saturday morning tag sale finds, and other good quality items and we'll
auction them for your right on the spot! You'll get paid that same day!
You are responsible for setup, display & running of your items. We do
the auctioning & bookkeeping, you get paid right after the auction
ends. If you plan to take part, advance notice is not necessary, but
would be wise and will be appreciated. All you have to do is show up
the day of the sale with your items and whatever you may need to
display them (a few card tables and a tarp is suggested), and be ready
to make money. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR ITEMS SET UP BY 12pm if you plan to
sell that day. You may set up as early as 8am. If you are involved
with the flea market you may set up at your regular time. This will be
well promoted through our mailing list, newspaper advertising, fliers,
radio ads, shows, word of mouth & online. First come/first serve for
field location. We would like this to be a quality auction so please no
junk.
If you are coming as a customer, be prepared to get some great buys!
Who knows what will show up at this auction. Be ready to take items
home that day!
Terms: 10% buyer premium, we accept cash, and checks w/ ID.

Information for Participants in the Tailgate Auction
Payment
You will be paid right after the auction is over! After the auction
has been checked out your lot will be totaled and you'll be paid on
the spot. (Your space will be checked to make sure nothing has been
left behind before you are paid.) We pay in cash until we run out and
then by check. If you have purchases you may have them deducted from
your sales total if you wish. First in first out. If you choose not to
wait until the auction is checked out to be paid, we can mail a check
to you.
Order
First come, first serve in the order of the auction. Bring about 35-45
lots maximum, we'll sell yours and move on to the next seller and so
on.
Running
Each participant is responsible for running their own lot. This means
when it is your turn you must bring an item/lot to the auctioneer to
sell. It's a good idea to have a general plan on what items you want
to sell first, this will help the flow and keep bidding momentum
peaked.
If you cannot run your own lot, you can still participate if you can
get your load to the auction. We will find a runner for you at a
reasonable fee, and you'll have to pick to pick up any unsold items
if there are any.
Minimums/Reserves
We do allow minimum bids at this sale. If you have an item that is not
appearing to reach the minimum discreetly indicate to me your bottom
line opening bid price.
Bidding
You are more than welcome to bid on other participant's lots.
Everyone who sets up will be given a bidders #. Anyone is allowed to
bid on any items except their own.
Side Deals and Trading
We request that there be no side deals or trading during the auction ,
but after the sale we encourage it.
Sliding scale commission rate is as follows.
If your lot total is $1.00 - $200.00 the commission rate =
30%
If your lot total is $201.00 - $500.00 the commission rate = 20%
If your lot total is $501 or more the commission rate =
10%
Any dealer who participates in this auction gets next weeks Saturday
afternoon Flea Market Outdoor Space for free.
We hope you join us in spreading the word about this auction the more
people you tell the better off we all are. Don't forget, this auction
will be postponed in the event of severe weather.
Thanks!
