The New Eastside Association of Residents (NEAR) is a community organization for 14,000 residents in Downtown Chicago - between Grant Park and the Chicago River, and East of Michigan Avenue to Lake Michigan. NEAR is an Illinois Not-For-Profit Corporation (1991), and an IRS 501(c)(3) (2011).
