Subject: South Eastern Update

Hello Christian Friends,

I hope you all had a nice weekend.  My sister told me today that the temperature was exactly the same here as it was in Minnesota.  Brrrrr....  I'm looking forward to warmer weather but am thankful for a nice warm house.
Last night, my wife and I had a wonderful time listening to the testimonies of all of the Jeff. and New Albany members who are following-up on the Bible studies from GYC.  Some have people who have taken 5-6 studies already.  It was especially exciting to hear the young people talk about their contacts.  Great job!  I am very proud of all of you!
This morning we had our make-up Pathfinder and Adventurer's Meeting.  It was fun for me to lead out in worship with all those excited voices.  We had 11 for Adventurers and are hoping to build up both our Pathfinder and Adventurer's programs.  We have wonderful teachers and are hoping to use these programs to evangelize more youth.  So please tell your neighbors and friends, who have young people, about the wonderful youth programs we have going on.

Prayer Meeting
This week we will continue our study on the book of Matthew.  This week we are going to be looking at Matthew 3.  Don't forget that we are meeting a half-hour before prayer meeting to have prayer for specific needs/requests of our members.

New Albany
Thursday at 6:30 we will be having our board meeting.  One of the main topics is going to be looking at different ways to accomplish our 5 main objectives that we developed at the last business meeting.  Please come with ideas!
Also, we will be having our quarterly elder's meeting at 5:30.

Jeffersonville
I will be speaking at Jeffersonville this Sabbath and am looking forward to worshiping with the folks there.  On Sunday morning, from 10-12, we will be having a business meeting specifically focusing on setting goals/objectives for the next 2-3 years.  Please make plans to come and contribute.

Madison
I was so sorry that the weather ruined our Sabbath worship yesterday.  I hope you had a nice day with your respective families.
I had a nice time this afternoon eating lunch with Bill and Karen Starr.  We shared testimonies and it was refreshing to hear how God has lead in their lives.  We then went to visit Ben and Leanne who have been coming to Prayer Meeting in Madison.  It is so exciting to hear how God is leading them and how much they are studying.  I am so thankful that the Starr family has wrapped their arms around them and we look forward to having them as official family soon!

God's richest blessings to all of you!
I hope you all have a great week!

Pastor Eric
