Hi Everybody!

I was just doing some math, and I believe that September 12 will be
the second Wednesday of the month and thus the designated meeting day.
Are any of you out there interested in getting together?

I can't offer a meeting place, but I can talk a little bit about an
http-push kit I've been fooling around with. It's called orbited [0]
and there are ruby bindings and a rails tutorial available. If anyone
is interested, we could work though the rails tutorial and talk about
how it works. Lemme know.

Regards,
Matthew

Sounds good to me.  I guess Au Bon Pain is okay, if there is nothing else available.

Regards,

Paul.

I'm interested.

I could host up to 6 people (including myself) reasonably comfortably
at my apartment[0], which is in the East Rock neighborhood, though
it'd mean parking on the street for most of you. (First one or two
cars here could park in the side lot)

Au Bon Pain or another coffee shop is fine too though. If we wanted
to do it at my place, I'd ask for RSVP at the very least a day or two
in advance so I know who's coming and can work out directions and
stuff.

It's on, then. I'll plan on being there (wherever there is) and I'll
volunteer to drive anyone that might be coming from points North like
me.

Have we decided on the definition of the word "there"? :)

Let's meet at Au Bon Pain. If we get tired of it, we can always go up
to my place, it's only 5 minutes away.

Can somebody hip me to the address of this Au Bon Pain? And what's the
designated time?

I don't know about time, 6:30, 7ish?

I realized I might have something I have to do tomorrow night, but
I'll know tomorrow whether I'll be able to attend.

Sorry to say that I will likely be there late, if I can make it at all.

Regards,

Paul.

I will be there. How's 6:30 work for folks?

The meeting was small, but cool. Orbited is pretty slick.

I think so too.

Regarding our (Greg, Al and I) discussion on the state of the Orbited
project:
http://www.orbited.org/blog/2007/09/good-advice/

Greg: do you see yourself in there?

"Javascript how-tos related to Orbited would be very nice. Should be
possible to build a nice JS library to do simple stuff. Until then,
what is the domain of JS problems that a user would need to address to
use Orbited in production?"

Hot. You know, I'm just a selfish bastard. I never learned
Javascript so anyone who can help me be lazy and ignorant is top of
cool :)
