Hi folks,

since I just needed to log in here anyway to kill some spammers, I
figured maybe we should revitalize the currently 'pining for the
fjords' Ruby group.

Though my Wednesdays are mostly shot these days, I would have no
problem meeting up for some other day in February (maybe a thursday?)

I was thinking we could go to a pizza place somewhere downtown, have
an informal gathering, and think about what we can do with this group
in the new year.

Anyone interested?

I'm interested as well.

If we are lacking for a meeting topic, maybe we can get Greg to teach
us how to draw Pac-Man ghosts. ;)

I think that ISG is like this >< close to being able to start holding
events at their new digs in Wallingford, if anyone's interested in
that. I'm no longer working there, but I'm in contact with them, and
they are not against still hosting meetings for our group.

I'm way interested, but Thursdays are wicked bad for me. Almost any
other day works though.

+1

I'd like to get together whether we've got a topic or not. I don't
think we've ever had trouble finding something to talk about in the
past.

I suppose we could do a Friday, but that'd likely be bad for others.
Mondays are the other likely day for me.

I'm available, with a bit of notice, any week night except for Friday.
It'll be nice to talk Ruby again...

Crap, I realized I have class on Mondays as well.

It looks like Thursday is about the only day I'm available before 8pm.

I can do after 8pm pretty much any night.

Also, Sunday nights I am usually free. So here are possible dates
that work for me:

Feb 10, 11, 15, 17, 28

Oh, 11 not an option, whoops.

Don't schedule around me. I'm the noisiest piner after all. If
Thursdays are the only way that it can work for everyone else, I'll
try to move stuff around. Notice will make it easier for me as well.

I realize that we're talking about the _New Haven_ Ruby Brigade, but I
could probably (with some notice) host a meeting at my home in
Bloomfield. It's a bit of a drive for you Southerners and I have no
projector, but I can promise free Wi-Fi and will provide snacks.

Looking forward to it,
mattD
