Duration: 6 Months contract to hire
Responsiblities.
Candidate will be developing an information management system, using JAVA/J2EE in a Micro Services / Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) environment utilizing agile software development methodologies such as Scrum.
Responsibilities:
· Perform Software development tasks including but not limited to requirements analysis (working directly with BAs), designing; coding; testing; implementation, and documentation.
· Work in agile team environment.
· Maintain and develop web applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
· Couple applications with data federation and geospatial visualization capabilities.
· Incorporate legacy applications together to provide user a seamless one stop shop experience.
· Modularize backend functionalities into web services.
· Componentize frontend functionalities to allow mash ups.
· Provide technical guidance and support to other programmers.
Required Qualifications / Experience / Education
· 7+ years of professional JAVA development experience
· Travel domain experience preferred
Experience with:
§ Linux/Windows
§ Oracle RDMS, MS SQL
§ HTML, AJAX, JavaScript, Angularjs, Nodejs , JQuery, JSP, XML, XSD, Portlets
§ UML, Visio, Design patterns
§ Java/J2EE
§ GWT
§ Micro Services, SOA, Restful services, SOAP-UI
§ SOLR, JBoss EWS/ Apache, Weblogic, Tomcat, WS-
· Hands on experience with build tools like Maven/Ant
· Linux / Unix
· Hands on experience on ORM technologies like Hibernate, JPA etc
· Hands on Spring modules like Core, Security , ORM, Batch etc
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience within related fields
