10289 – Project Manager – Tallahassee, FL
Start Date: ASAP
Estimated Duration: 3 months with possible extension
Type: Temporary Project
Remote or Onsite: On location at the Client’s site 100% of the time. No telecommuting or remote work.
Description: Our Client, a government agency, is looking to hire a Project Manager in Tallahassee, FL.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Provide business analysis support;
• Manage the move of an actual Data Center.
• Provide support for schedule management;
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical customers and staff;
• Support maintenance of project management artifacts.
Requirements:
• Knowledge of project and process management concepts;
• Knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V and other virtualization technologies;
• Knowledge of prevalent system monitoring tools and protocols Nagios/ Solarwinds/ WhatsUp/ SNMP (specify, please);
• Experience with server hardware and related peripheral devices racks/ cabling/ KVMs/ UPS/ network switches/ local and SAN-based storage ;
• Experience with shell scripting PowerShell/ WSH/ Batch;
• Experience with TCP/IP/ communication ports (TCP/UDP)/ firewall fundamentals as they relates to systems management (preferred);
• Experience in managing the move of an actual Data Center (preferred);
• Government project experience.
