Getting ready for the Taipei Bikeshow. Busy- everything is ALMOST done! We are ahead of schedule, but the details take a LOT of time and we have to get that right! I will post regular updates on our Facebook pages & Twitter accounts on what is happening at the Show.

X-Grip & MTX Carbon Bar Ends

X-Grip ( Unique design)

A double lock grip with different gripping properties (hardness & texture) in different locations of the grip to improve the feel of the bike where YOU need it most. Turn it to fit your needs. By turning the grip you can adjust the position of the harder “X” rubber to where you need a better grasp and the rest (softer) rubber of the grip offers more vibration dampening. This “X” not only has a harder rubber, but also a different texture for a better grip.

For the inside plastic that fits onto the handlebar, we chose PP plastic because it is highly stable and resistant to chemical changes. Rigid enough to grip the handlebar, strong enough to not break or shift under extreme use.

The outside rubber used is TPR. We moved the TPR to the outside because of it excellent properties. TPR has a very good tear / strength ratio and is highly weather resistant ( it is exposed) and light weight. We know some riders change grips often, so we wanted an environmentally friendly grip that will last longer and made of materials that are reusable and recyclable.

The Ithaca Grand Prix of Cyclocross

Presented by Token Products

The Ithaca Grand Prix of Cyclocross - Presented by Token Products, is a grassroots cyclocross race that is gaining steam every year. First held in 2007, Brian Hancock (race promoter), started the race as a way to bring people to a great park in the city of Ithaca, Michigan (USA), and to improve the overall racer and spectator experience at a 'cross race. "The city staff has been absolutely fantastic to work with. They really appreciate his efforts to bring over 100 racers and their families to the city for a day in the fall. Small municipalities like Ithaca are fantastic because they sincerely feel the economic effects of even a one-day bike race," Brian said.

Token Products has signed on as the gold sponsor, thereby claiming the title sponsorship for the race. Brian has been hard at work getting this particular race the publicity it deserves, even opening registration a few days ago for the September 8 event. In addition, as part of the gold sponsorship package, there will be more information in Cyclocross Magazine, the premier US-based publication devoted to cyclocross.

Token is providing monetary and product support for the race, claiming rights to the first and third place finishers of each race category.
