Hello,

we have found a new problem using OEAPI 3.2.1 with Windows Mail

- Just check that your launcher.exe is started in memory and starts
Windows Mail
- Select Tools->Accounts and add a News account (like this one witch
is free : news.readfreenews.net)
- Try to connect to several discuss into the group -> Windows Mail
crash

- Kill the launcher and restart windows mail
- Try to connect to several discuss into the group -> It Works so
subscribe to one or more groups
- Close Windows Mail

- Starts the Lancher.exe again and starts Windows Mail
- Try to read messages in the groups previously subscribed -> It shows
you inbox or other mail folder when you select the group
- Kill the launcher and restart windows mail
- Try to read messages in the groups previously subscribed -> It works

So actually our customers cannot use any news group with our software.

Kind regards

Excuse me, but I cannot remember all the times this "standard" answer
was done in the last times.
The current OEAPI version is around from quite a bit time now and with
some annoying bugs; a BIG update
urge to be released to address all the issues and to ensure
compatibility with the upcoming Vista SP1.
I understand that your product is a complex piece of code, but please
also understand
that our applications, our customer and our business depends on it.

Thank you.

Hi Rocco:

We are aware of what you described, we have been working hard and we are
on the final stage before the next release, which has many bugfixes and
will be announced soon.
We are sorry for any inconveniences this delay has caused.

Thank you for contacting Nektra's OEAPI Support.

Regards,

Federico
