License Concern

Hi,

I have work on WAB read and write for month, and found no way to CREATE
FOLDER (even not mentioned in MSDN). and only NKTWAB could DO IT!!!

1) it is magic to me. as long as my product may be in commercial use, I
really concern about the license issue of NKTWAB. (through
http://www.nektra.com/products/wab/ have a single line to declare it as
"Now, NKTWAB is a Freeware library that can be used for any purpose."),
but would anyone know the detail of it?

2) moreover, would Nektra give some hints about how could them create
the folder? is it base on API or directly modify the WAB file as libwab
be?

We are glad you appreciate NKT WAB, it took intense and deep research to be able to support folder creation.
About your license concern, the product is free to use and to distribute with the conditions that you add references on your product's documentation and website mentioning that you are using NKT WAB, and that it was developed by Nektra, and that you add a link to Nektra's website. We have now added a license section for the product here.
About how folder creation could be supported, its was made through the API, and took very dedicated and complex research of undocumented processes.
