Hi all!!,

I executed a sample code posted on group that performs CRUD(create,
add, delete etc) on WAB.
I was not able to create new contact, but i was able to fetch as many
contact items as defined in IConatct interface, but not all.

I need to fetch all contact items of WAB and also perform CRUD on WAB
fully.

I tried to extend the source code but i found some "Comet lib
dependencies" & i tried to install that also, but not successful in
that.
It gave this err msg:

>Project : error PRJ0002 : Error result -1 returned from 'C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe'.
1>Creating browse information file...
1>Microsoft Browse Information Maintenance Utility Version 9.00.21022
1>Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.
1>BSCMAKE: error BK1506 : cannot open file '.\Debug\std.sbr': No such
file or directory
1>Build log was saved at "file://c:\Documents and Settings
\A0009\Desktop\nktwab-lgpl-source\nktwab-lgpl\src\lib\Debug
\BuildLog.htm"
1>nktwab - 2 error(s), 0 warning(s)
========== Build: 0 succeeded, 1 failed, 0 up-to-date, 0 skipped
==========

I felt that these err's came bcoz of Comet, it supports "Visual
Studio 6" & I have Visual Studio 9 (2008), its not recognizing some
commands thts why its not able to generate regd files".\Debug
\std.sbr".

Plz guide me coz i am not able to get any resource regarding 'Comet
lib'.

Also plz suggest how all CRUD opr'ns can be implemented on WAB.

Your support will be very appreciated.

Thnx..

Regards..
Manisha

Hi Manisha,

Are you using the Comet update for Visual Studio versions newer than Visual Studio 6?
If not, follow the instructions explained here. We have tried this Comet update on VS 2008 and it worked.

You can use the included NKTWAB VB Demo code as a reference of how to implement the mentioned operations on NKTWAB.

Thank you for contacting Nektra's NKTWAB Support.

Regards,

Federico
