הריסות בנגב היום

כוחות משטרה גדולים נכנסו היום לאל-מטבח, משפחת אבו-סולב והרסו שני בתים. ילדים ונשים נשארו ללא קורת גג. המדינה הורסת בתים "חדשים" בנגב, הבית שהרסו היה בית שעבר שיפוץ, ועל כן נחשב בעיני המדינה כבית "חדש". בעת הגשם בשבוע שעבר, בתים רבים איבדו חלקים - גגות וקירות. בעלי בתים אלה, גם הם, כאשר יתקנו את הנזק - ייחשבו "חדשים", ויהיו תחת איום ההריסה. 

המדינה גם הרסה בית בעיירה לקיה, וכמובן - קינחה בהרס הכפר אל ערקיב. הפעם גם הרסו בהמשך הכפר בתים של משפחת אל עוקבי.

Many police today entered the village of Al-Matbah and destroyed two houses of the the Abu-Sulb family. Women and children were left without a roof over their heads. the gov't claims that it destroys only new structures. the homes had been slightly fixed because of erosion, so the gov't considers these homes "new". many homes had been damaged in the storms last week, loosing parts of their roofs and whole walls. the owners of these damaged homes are also worried that if they fix their homes, they will be also considered "new" and will be demolished by the gov't bulldozers.

the gov't also demolished a house in the Bedouin town of Laqia, and to top off their day... demolished El Araqib again. adjacent to El Araqib they continued on and destroyed homes of the El Uqbi family.
