Final Advance Estimate of 2019 Paddy Production in Nepal using the CCAFS Regional Agricultural Forecasting Toolbox (CRAFT)

Dear NeKSAP members,

We are pleased to share the report on Final Advance Estimate of 2019 Paddy Production in Nepal using the CCAFS Regional Forecasting Toolbox (CRAFT). This includes estimate of spring paddy production too. Total paddy production is estimated to be 5.43 million MT, representing a 1.7 percent decrease compared to 2018 (5.6 million MT).

This publication is a joint product of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development (MoALD), World Food Programme (WFP), and CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS) as part of the Nepal Food Security Monitoring System (NeKSAP).
