Indian Basket Work ,undated ,but I believe it to date from 1915 .VGC.
Ultra rare book on the subject, especially in such lovely condition.
"An original adaptation for school use of the methods of work and of
patterns done by the Red Indians". Green boards, 7 x 9.5 inches. 95 pp.
Attractive green and cream decorated endpapers. Illustrated throughout
with b&w photos and diagrams.

Here is something interesting for you Yosemite Indians or related to a
Yosemite Indian - It seems there are big, big problems with the Indian
indentification of Indian baskets in Yosemite.

Most baskets in Yosemite are made by Yokut Indians and mostly Paiutes.
