Miracles continue in El Salvador... help us continue Rev. Bob Cook's  Legacy in El Salvador, October 11 - 19, 2026

Dear Friends,

As many of you know, Rev. Bob Cook dedicated much of his life to the people of El Salvador, building friendships and supporting communities that continue to thrive today. The relationships Bob nurtured remain strong, and his legacy continues through the work of local leaders and organizations committed to improving lives.

Earlier this year, we had hoped to host Cecilia García, Director of One Hundred Angels, in Des Moines. While those plans changed, a new opportunity has emerged that may be even more meaningful.

Frank Cordaro and Cecilia García invite friends of Bob Cook to join the One Hundred Angels Delegation to El Salvador in October 2026. This delegation will visit many of the same communities where Bob worked, including the people who lovingly cared for him and helped lay his ashes to rest in El Tablón.

One Hundred Angels is already working alongside the same community leaders and families Bob knew. Together, we will visit rural communities, learn about ongoing water and infrastructure projects, share meals with local families, and experience the culture and beauty of El Salvador. This is not simply a trip—it is an opportunity to deepen relationships, witness the impact of community-driven projects, and continue the spirit of solidarity that Bob championed throughout his life.

We hope to bring a group of 5 to 15 participants who would like to reconnect with old friends, honor Bob’s memory, and experience firsthand the remarkable work being done today.

• Visits to communities where Bob worked and built lasting friendships
• Meetings with local leaders and families
• Water and community development projects
• Cultural immersion experiences in San Salvador and rural El Salvador
• Visits to Alegría, Berlín, Laguna de Alegría, and surrounding communities
• Time for reflection, connection, and fellowship
In addition, Cecilia García will be visiting Iowa in August and will be available to meet with anyone interested in learning more about the October delegation and the work of One Hundred Angels.
