Please consider donating to the Filmmakers Collaborative to help CW photographer Paul Gingras finish his important documentary on the art and life of our much loved Tom Lewis. A detailed description of the project can be found below. 

Many of you have met Paul at our CW national gatherings. He is a wonderful photographer who is committed to elevating the life witness of Tom Lewis. Tom's story needs to be told, so please help him get the job done. Donations of any amount welcome.

Dear Michael.

 

As you know, I am the Executive Producer for the planned documentary about our friend and your fellow traveler Tom Lewis. The working title is “Draft Cards Are For Burning: The Subversive Art of Tom Lewis”

 

I have assembled a seasoned crew of documentary filmmakers who are very excited about working on this project. Our documentary will be a journey into the life and subversive art of antiwar, anti-nuclear proliferation, artist/activist Tom Lewis, using first hand knowledge, archival footage and interviews.

 

Our editors will weave together an emotionally compelling story that emphasizes the urgent need for antiwar, anti-nuclear proliferation action as exemplified by Tom Lewis’s life and art.

 

As of today the immediate need is:

 

1.  $500 filing fee for a certificate of organization with the Secretary of the Commonwealth  for a Limited Liability Company ( LLC) named Tom Lewis Artist/Activist.

 

2. $810 for 2 external hard drives to transfer 40 terabytes to editors.

 

3.  $1000 bid from editor for a 2-3 minute sizzle reel.

 

 4. Total $2310

 

5. All donations must be mailed to our fiscal sponsor Filmmakers Collaborative. They also take credit cards and cashiers checks.
