ADK Silver bordered fritillaries!

They’re not extinct or rare but they’re beautifully and distinctly marked. There were quite a number of them all flying around the boneset and a meadow filled with with big fresh violet leaves. It would be a good place to bring a chair and watch the action. There is also a little grassy stream and pond nearby in case you want to see some meadowhawks……happy summer everyone! …..Nan Wilson
