Mark Chao reported a Pipevine swallowtail butterfly from Ithaca recently. Does anyone remember the previous report from Ithaca? Bob? Carolyn?

I just looked out of the window, I saw a big butterfly fly by. I quickly opened the door thinking it was a monarch. But I found a Giant Swallowtail nectering on A  incarnata. Luckily I had a camera nearby and could grab a shot from inside the house.
It didn't stay long, tried to cross road and it came back again spent couple of minutes flying over Joepye weed before disappearing.

First of the year for me
It pays to be home!
