Welcome to the NYS Park & Historic Site Friends Groups Discussion
Forum!

To help facilitate greater networking and communications among Friends
groups, Parks & Trails New York has started this online discussion
forum. The discussion forum is an opportunity for Friends
organizations across the state to communicate with each other –
sharing ideas, asking advice, learning from one another and building
the strength of our parks movement.

Through the forum, you can:
--> Get help and advice from others across the state facing similar
challenges.
--> Discuss the issues facing our state park system and Friends
organizations.
--> Share ideas for strengthening Friends groups so that we can better
protect and promote our parks and historic sites.

***Sending a Message***
To send a message to the group, you can either start a new discussion
topic on this webpage by clicking on the "new post" button, or you can
simply send an email to the group email and it will be delivered to
all members. The email address is: NYSPark...@googlegroups.com.

When you reply to a message received through this group, you may
decide who the reply is sent to (i.e., all members of the group or the
email author).

Please refrain from sending messages about off-topic items. Parks &
Trails New York will work to ensure that the discussion forum is used
for the discussion of topics related to the NYS park system and its
friends groups.
