Does your Friends Gorup charge for membership? I know Friends of Fahenstock does not.

Hi Everyone,

First, thanks for joining the NYS Park & Historic Site Friends Group
Discussion Forum! We hope this will be a valuable resource and
communications vehicle.

Second, I just wanted to make sure everyone knows that you can control
how you receive messages from the group by changing your settings. You
can either have messages from other group members delivered to your
email or you can visit the group page to view new posts.

Last, I wanted to resend Jane's question below because this
conversation has come up a few times recently. Some friends groups --
like other nonprofits -- have considered separating 'membership' from
donations. That way, anyone who is interested in the organization,
regardless of financial contribution, receives newsletters and other
information. At the same time, groups may want to attract donors by
creating membership levels and associating certain benefits with those
levels. I would be curious to know what other groups are doing.

Best,
Laura
