Ladies,

First, you may be anxious about committee renewal for next year. We can tell you now that we will not have details about next year's location before the April 15 renewal deadline. That said, if you do want to stay with this committee (we'd love you to!) after you find out our new location, there shouldn't be a problem. We will of course keep you updated as we find out details. The location could be anywhere right now—they are exploring community partners. We know Da Vinci Explorers will continue to exist—the modules we've created are so excellent!

In other news, we have given each person one free make-up credit. Now here are some options for make-up credits for those of you who still need them. We are truly in need of completing these projects below, so we'd love your help! Each project is not necessarily equivalent to a single make-up credit—it could simply bring you into good standing.

Photo Album

We need to gather all the photos from the year, and create and publish an aesthetically pleasing and exciting photo album (two copies) in time for Placement Previews on May 2.

Activity Plans and Resources

We need to clean up our activity plans to make sure they're all uniform and complete, and gather all the resources and worksheets that accompanied the activities to create a thorough and organized record. This could be digitally housed, but could also make for a useful tool at Placement Previews.

Placement Previews on May 2

We need people to represent us and recruit new members for our future! We need at least two people per shift; shifts are 5–7 p.m. and 7–9 p.m. You will have to coordinate what enticing materials we need for our table (sign-up sheet, info sheets, photo album, candy, etc.?). Placement Previews are Thursday, May 2, at headquarters. Be ready to smile, be proactive (aggressive), and be friendly!

Additional PIP, DIAD, VTL, etc.

You are welcome to attend an activity in addition to what is required for your general NYJL membership. Please let us know which activity and what date you attend.

Let us know if you have any questions. Even if you don't need the credit, we'd love to have your help!

I am more than happy to work on the photo book and get activities lessons together. 

I just need pictures, schedule of activities and anything else you guys might think is needed.

I will be out if town on the 2nd and on the 27th when we are doing out group PIP. If anybody is attending a different one please let me know.

I don't know what to do.. I have a conference may 2 I don't know when it's ending but it's in the city and I know I need to make stuff up. Maybe I could work on the photo thing but I'm not sure how to.. Any suggestions for me?  Thanks guys!!
