Hello AMEC,
We have opened registration for Chazy Lake on MotorsportsReg: https://icerace.motorsportreg.com/
We typically don’t open registration until we have confirmed we’ll be able to race, but this will help us prepare for the weekend. Your credit card won’t be charged until we confirm we’ll be able to race. The ice is growing albeit slowly. I will be checking the ice on Chazy Lake this coming Saturday to check the ice myself and determine the probability of racing on Feb 6 and 7.
A check of other lakes this weekend showed little progress over the last week. However, this coming week will remain below freezing which will help a lot!
Unfortunately we will not be able to race this coming weekend so the race scheduled for 1/31 is cancelled.
Stay optimistic, the weather is finally cooperating!
