Hi Ice racers,

Well, we have some bad news and some interesting news for you.

First the bad news: There will be no ice races this weekend. The only lake that is close to good was Pecks Lake and we can’t race there the next couple of weeks but the ice wasn’t good enough yet anyway. All the our other lakes still need to make a fair amount of ice to be safe.

There is still a lot of winter to go so keep your cars warmed up and ready to go.

The interesting news: Our Alpha tire supplier NE Racing tires is working on an contingency awards program for anyone using the Alpha ice cross tires. I am not sure if that is for this season or next season yet, but if you use them and do well, you could get awards from Alpha Tire. If you have Alpha tires mounted on your car ready to go send me some photos NE Racing tires wants to see race cars with the tires mounted.

Let’s hope the cold this weekend will help us! Next week looks to be warm again though :-(
