Hello all. This is a reminder that the next SWaG meeting is Tuesday,
5/12, at 3:30 in the Big Ten Room (#104 Norris). If you have agenda
items for the meeting, please send them to me by the end of the day on
Monday, 5/11. If you are unable to attend this meeting, please let me
know. And, if there are any contact updates for SWaG distribution,
please notify me as well. Only two SWaG meetings left this year –
hope to see you all there!

Wed. May 13: Multifaith Panel on the connections between the
environment and religion, speakers include Rev. Clare Butterfield and
Dr. Hemlata Pokhama, Fisk Hall 217, 7:30 pm

Group, UCM, and the Bahai Club

3. Marty Essen is currently traveling the United States with Around
the World in 90 Minutes, the multimedia version of Cool Creatures, Hot
Planet. Now in his second year of performing at colleges, museums, and
nature centers. "People from coast-to-coast have been incredibly
receptive to my conservation message. Young people, especially, are
realizing that we need to do more to protect endangered species and
fight global warming. After all, they are the ones who will inherit
the world from previous generations. Looking the other way while
others plunder our planet's natural resources for profit is no longer
an option!"
