Wanted to forward this on to help AC out. She's on the hook for a large deposit (note: $150 x like 30? yikes) by the end of this week and needs people to sign up and pay that $150 so that our gathering happens in June. 

In case you were planning on signing up and just needed a little nudge :) So far, Heather, Edith, Rach, and I are signed up.  I hope lots of us can get together this year!

We have a full reservation of Evan's Lake Camp (just North of Squamish) from Friday, June 6th until Saturday, June 8th.  

Two night cabin accommodation (or BYOTent) as well as six square meals and all the sunshine, laketimes and game-changing good friends you can handle -- For only $150!  *Subsidies available.

We need at least 25 people to sign up ASAP so that we can put the deposit down.  (We need 50 guests to break even on the rental. I'm confident we'll be able to grow this party.)

Glamping: / ˈglampɪŋ / Camping, but with glamour. A combination of the two words. Similar to the activity of spending a holiday living out of a tent, but having the option of not sleeping on the ground and being provided with three hot meals per day.  Costumes customary, but optional.  It's like camping, but with grey poupon and hot showers. Possibly tutus and capes.

Hi friends!  

We're taking on the coordination of our own Gathering / Annual NUp party this year!

Some of you have attended Evan's Lake Camp before -- it's just a few kms past Squamish (we'll make our own way in carpools) -- it's a glorious patch of land on a private lake.  There are cabins enough for everyone to have a bunk and there is ample ground to bring your own tent as well!  

When we arrive in the evening of Fri, June 6 we'll be fed dinner.  All meals on Saturday -- plus snacks -- and breakfast and lunch on Sunday before heading home.

Programming?  You choose.  I'll be in touch about food sensitivities and sleeping arrangements.  Otherwise I'm not planning anything except blowing up lake toys.  Agenda?  Eat, swim and fire-side sing-a-longs!  If there is anything you'd like to chat about or work on we'll leave that up to you!

Otherwise BYOB and anything you need for a cabin camp-out.  (Sunscreen, bathingsuits, towels, toothbrush, sleeping bag!)  We'll send a more comprehensive list closer to the date.

Finally -- we're getting a pretty rad deal ($150) for two nights and feedings.  That doesn't mean everyone is in the place to contribute financially.  If we have 50 full paying participants we have enough for three full scholarships!  If you'd like to be the beneficiary of one of those -- please let me know!  That said, if you can't come but would like to send another NUpper for a fabulous weekend of NUp networking, we'd be grateful for that of course!
