HeeelllllOOOOooo Vancouver (and beyond!)

I'm emailing all of you who have expressed interest in joining us at the Gathering with some updates!

We now have four folk with flights booked to join us from Ottawa and nineteen coming from Saskatoon!

Our Nuppers in Calgary and Edmonton are arranging themselves in convoys of vans and will be weaving through the rockies and spend a night (Thurs, May 23) before we all roll to Cortes all together (Fri, May 24).  (Coming back from the Gathering they will need a place to stay as well... as will a few folk from Saskatchewan.)  (I'm guessing there will be about 80 of us in all at Hollyhock!)

1) Can you billet a body or two?  If YES, please fill out this form: Vancouver HOSTS.

Meanwhile, we're working on the agenda!  Kevin and I will be meeting with our facilitator, Jackie Larkin (!), shortly to iron it out.

2) Itinerary-in-the-rough:

THURS, MAY 23: Billetting 

FRI, MAY 24: 8:30AM Ferry (Horseshoe Bay > Nanaimo) / Bus to Campbell River / Water Taxi to Cortes (arriving around 1PM)

FRI, MAY 24 -- SUN, MAY 26: Guest speakers, breakouts, amazing food, oyster BBQ, dance party, phosphorescence, new connections...

SUN, MAY 26: 2PM Head home / Billet out-of-town guests

MON, MAY 27: Guests depart

Our plan just now is to rent a big ol' bus that will take you from Nanaimo to Campbell River.  From there you'll board the water taxi.  We'll cover these costs (completely for current cohort and this is part of your contribution, alumni.)

3) If you'd like to be counted in on the bus, let me know!!  If you're taking your own car, let me know!!

Apologies this is taking awhile... but we'll have a webspace up shortly where you can make your financial contribution to the Gathering.  (Again, we're asking for a pay-whatcha-can sliding scale between $250-$700.)

4) If you were a "maybe" before and have worked out that you can't make it, fire me a message and I'll stop harrassing you.  If you now know that you're full on in, I'd be happy to hear that, too!
