Next Up Coaching Opportunity

Hello crew! 

Just a quick reminder/follow up on our discussions on Tuesday about the coaching opportunity through Next Up, especially for those that weren't there.

James presented us all with a sweet opportunity - to have a coaching relationship with a NU alumni from Dec-May. This relationship typically plays out as a weekly 30-45 minute phone call with your coach, who offers advice about how to move forward with your goals, and keeps you accountable to the goal-orientated tasks you set for yourself each week. It's not a mutual relationship - the coach is there to be your resource (though it's a good learning experience for the coaches as well). 

In order to get things rolling on the coach training side of things, James needs to know which members of our cohort would like to take part in the program. It is not required in any way. It's a significant commitment, and its value is directly linked to how much energy you have available for it, so be thoughtful about that before you put it on your plate.

Hi all!

Hope you're all about to embark on relaxing and reflective weekends! Just a reminder that next week we're meeting on Tuesday at 6 pm at City Studio.

We'll be looking at a couple different ideas this sesson. The schedule includes:
 
6:00 - 6:15 - Check in, intros
6:15-6:45 - The Coaching aspect of Next Up, with Next Up alumni James (http://www.nextup.ca/network/next-up-bc-2008-2009/)
6:15-7:30 - The Sylvan Lake Declaration, with Venai and Steph
7:30 - 7:40 - Break
7:40 - End - A Next Up project that Kevin will introduce
