Wednesday's AASL Membership Meeting

Your AASL hosted a public gathering on Wednesday evening to update everyone on what has been accomplished over the last year and what the plan is for next year. You can find all of the information in their report here.

If you look on page 3 of the report, you should see a lovely familiar face holding an A.

Some of my favorite things from this meeting are below:

Engagement Finder Tool: This new engagement tool allows school librarians to search AASL engagement opportunities by interest, amount of time available, workstyle, and/or experience level. Results include informal engagement, like attending an event or sharing on social media, to more formal options like serving on a committee or the Board of Directors.
