Happy Holiday Weekend, Clubbers!

We're having the foray at Cave Mountain Lake again this year! The NRVMC would like to invite you to the 2024 Joint Foray of the Blue Ridge Mycological Society, New River Valley Mushroom Club, and Central Appalachian Mycological Society.  Last year, over 40 of us had a blast and weathered some rain to walk, collect, identify, learn, camp, swim, grill, relax, and make new friends!

We will meet on the evening of Friday, September 6th at Cave Mountain Lake Campground in Natural Bridge Station, VA, and stay through the morning of Sunday, September 8th. There will be fascinating presentations, workshops, and walks!  There's a lake for swimming! 

You’ll be welcome to purchase the "Group Camp" ticket to stay in the group campsite or coordinate your own accommodations on a private campsite or elsewhere in the area. 

If you plan to attend as a member of the New River Valley Mushroom Club and haven't yet paid your dues donation for 2024, you may mail a check to PO Box 64, Christiansburg, VA  24068 or pay via PayPal.  Dues are $15/Individual or $20 Friends and Family plan.  Dues paid after Oct 1, 2023 are good for this whole year.  If you are have quesrions, write to me at this email address nrvmush...@gmail.com, with your patience for my reply within a few days.

If you have not yet joined the MeetUp Group for the New River Valley Mushroom Club, it's a requirement for membership in the NRVMC because it is the way we normally manage RSVPs for our walks, talks and workshops.  If you are not a member of other MeetUp groups already, you will need to create a login, but it's easy.  https://www.meetup.com/new-river-valley-mushroom-club/  This particular registration is being managed by BRMS through EventBrite.  Thank you Pat!
