6th District changing email blast system

Effective today, the 6th District will no longer use Google Groups to
send out email blast to our residental and business community. The
department is going to a standardized email blast system that has more
capabilities than the google groups program.

The emails will come from a system called "NOLA READY" Last week, all
persons who were signed up with our google email blast should have
received a message from the nola ready system. Here are instructions
to log in to the new system and sign up to continue receiving our
blast:

Go to www.nolaready.info On the left side of the page you will see
the "User Login" area. Your login will be your email address that you
receive this blast under. Enter your email address in the "email
address"field. Next, you will enter your password in the appropriated
field. Your temportary password is Rucu7ustum. Be careful the password
is case sensitive. Once you have logged into the system you should
change your password to something easy for you to remember. You will
be able to make corrections to your profile and add devices such as
mobile phone so that you can receive information anywhere. Feel free
to join as many groups as you like. We have groups that not only
address our individual district but you can also sign up to receive
message from the Superintendet of Police Ronal W. Serpas.

The google group page will remain on-line, so you will still be able
to read archived email blast and photos. If you need assistance with
