6th District Person's Crimes Recap - Week of 8/8/10 - 8/14/10

The following persons crimes occured during the week of 8/8/10 -
8/14/10:

Homicide - S. Liberty/Terpsichore 8/13/10
On Friday, August 13, 2010, officers responded to a shooting in the
intersection of S. Liberty and Terpsichore where they found the victim
laying in the middle of the street suffering from a single gunshot
wound. The victim expired on scene. No information available on
perpetrator at this time

Armed Robbery - 7th/Chippewa 8/10/10
Victim stated the perpetrator hailed a cab in the 200 block of Decatur
Street and requested a ride to 7th/Chippewa. Once the cab arrived at
this location, the perp stuck an unknown oblect to the back of the cab
drivers head and stated "Give me your money or Im going to shoot you"
The driver relinquished his money, and the perp fled on 7th St
towards.
