Shooting Arrest-Third Street and Clara Street

Sixth District E-Mail Blast:

On Tuesday, May 25, 2010, at about 2:02 a.m., the victim had just
been dropped off at the intersection of Third Street and Clara
Street. It was at that time, two subjects approached the victim and
one of the subjects pulled out a handgun and began shooting at the
victim, striking him once in the chest. After the shooting the victim
was transported to Touro Hospital. It is unknown what route the
perpetrators fled. During the course of the investigation, Sixth
District Detectives Developed Joe Harney, b/m, 7-9-90, as a suspect in
the shooting. Subsequently, Harney was charged in the offense.
