Armed Robbery (Carjacking) 7-15-2010

On Thursday, July 15, 2010 at about 11:59pm, the victim said he exited
his vehicle in the 700 block of Montegut St. At about this time the
wanted subjects approached him and asked for a ride. The wanted
subject asked the victim if they could use his cell phone. The
subjects then produced the weapons and told the victim to give it up.
The victim threw his possessions to the ground. The wanted subjects
continued to demand more money from the victim. After telling the
wanted subjects he had no more money, they demanded the keys to his
vehicle. The #1 subject fled in the victim’s vehicle and the #2
subject fled on foot.

Wanted:

#1 Unknown b/m 5’8”, slim build, late teens, early twenties years of
age, light colored t-shirt, armed with a rifle

#2 Unknown b/m slim build, armed with a handgun

Victim’s vehicle:
2005 Kia Monte gray in color, La License plate # RDU991

Fifth District Detectives are actively investigating this case.
