Armed Robbery (gun) 11-08-09

The victims informed the detective that on 11-08-2009 at approximately
12:30 pm they parked their vehicle in the parking lot and begin
walking towards Saint Ferdinand Street. The victims stated while
walking in the 2700 block of North Roman Street they were approached
by three unknown black male subjects. The first subject demanded
victim#1’s purse. When she refused he tried grabbing the purse and she
resisted. He then told the second subject to “get the thing out, get
the thing out”. The second subject then retrieved a dark color semi-
automatic handgun from his waistband and pointed it at both victims.
The first subject removed victim#1’s purse and all three subjects
fled east on North Roman Street then unknown.

#1 unk bm, late teens, 160lbs, white t-shirt, blue jeans
#2 unk bm, late teens, 160lbs, blue jeans, multi colored jacket, black
hat
#3 unk bm, late teens, 160lbs

Fifth District Detectives are actively investigating this case.
